SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – DigiTech today announced the availability of the legendary DOD® FX69 Grunge e-pedal for the iStomp downloadable stompbox. The FX69 Grunge defined the sound of the Seattle grunge scene in the early 90s.  The hyper-charged high-gain pre-amp of the FX69 Grunge is just plain nasty with heavy tones that give your notes infinite sustain. The modern crunch with huge low-end response ensures the legendary FX69 Grunge pedal cannot be matched. It is guaranteed to leave your band mates pleading for mercy.

“The DOD FX69 Grunge is a top-selling tone, and we are pleased to add it to our e-pedal collection for guitarists to take advantage of one of the most popular distortion sounds,” said Rob Urry, vice president, HARMAN Professional Division and general manager of Signal Processing and Amplifier Business Units. “We encourage guitarists to take advantage of the introductory pricing of our new e-pedals during the first month they are launched."

The FX69 Grunge e-pedal is true to its heritage with its unmistakable purple cracked metallic finish and simple layout with Loud, Butt, Face and Grunge controls that allow players to match the distortion level with the original signal level, control the lower-frequency content of your tone, control the “ouch” content of the sound and control the amount of hair on the distortion respectively.

The DigiTech DOD FX69 Grunge e-pedal will be available immediately at an introductory price of $0.99. This introductory price will run through August 31, 2012. After the introductory period the price will change to $6.99.
